Bio: Dr. Sofiene Tlili is an Assistant Professor of Environmental Toxicology in the Higher Institute of Environmental Sciences and Technologies, University of Carthage (Tunisia). He has completed his Ph.D Thesis in Eco-toxicology obtained from the Faculty of Pharmacy, University of Nantes (France). Dr. Sofiene Tlili has a post-Doctoral experience in the Environmental Toxicology and Chemistry during several stays in the University of Lille 1, France. Dr. Sofiene Tlili has conducting research studies about the fate and the characterization of toxic effects of emergent environmental pollutants in aquatic organisms at different levels of biological organization. During those research works, He is also interested in the optimization of the use of ecological relevant bio-markers in endemic and alien marine species (copepods, mollusks and Fish).  Besides the publication of   international research originals papers, Dr. Sofiene Tlili has participated also in the organization of several scientific meetings and thematic workshops. In addition, he is a reviewer for international peer-review journals such as Environmental Monitoring and Assessment (EMAS) and Bulletin of Environmental Contamination and Toxicology (BECT).
