Bio: Dr. Michelle Ng Yeen Tan obtained her PhD  from Universiti Putra Malaysia in 2008. She is currently an Assistant Professor at Universiti Tunku Abdul Rahman, Perak, Malaysia for more than 7 years. She has experience in teaching undergraduate students in Biomedical Science as well as in supervising  both undergraduate and postgraduate students in their research projects. Her current research interest mainly focused on the potential of microbial enzymes in downstream processing as well as in therapeutic applications. She is also interested in developing simple and cost effective methods in various biologics downstream processing. Dr. Ng has also served as Reviewers for many local and international peer-reviewed journals.
