Dr Roman Lysiuk carries out a focused analysis of native flora from the Western part of Ukraine and some introduced plant species for the marker substances that cause nephroprotective (hypoazotemic) activity, and determines their localization in the plant materials of promising species, also conducts a comprehensive study of qualitative and quantitative contents of certain compounds and develops a technology for obtaining herbal substances with the highest content of the subjected compounds.
