Bio:

Dr Terence Kee is a senior consultant renal physician with interest in renal transplantation. He received his MBBS from Flinders University of South Australia in 1994, completed the Singapore General Hospital training program in internal and renal medicine with MRCP (UK) in 2000 and and renal physician specialist accreditation in 2003. He was subsequently awarded HMDP funding to complete a 1-year fellowship program in advanced renal transplantation medicine at the Westmead Hospital under Professor Jeremy Chapman. He returned to SGH in 2005 and subsequently took over the directorship of the renal transplant team in 2008 and continued to become clinical director of the SGH Transplant Center in 2013, and also the Deputy Director of SingHealth Transplant of Research and Education.

Terence Kee holds academic appointments as Adjunct Assistant Professor in both Duke-NUS Graduate Medical School and NUS Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine and currently serve as core faculty for the SingHealth Senior Residency Program in Renal Medicine and SingHealth Residency Program in Internal Medicine. He mentored several medical students, residents, senior residents as well as allied health professionals (dieticians, pharmacists, physiotherapists, transplant coordinators) who engage in ongoing research and quality improvement projects in various areas of renal transplantation. His contributions include the development of transplant programs in Malaysia, Indonesia and Brunei by assisting in training and development of complex transplant procedures like ABO incompatible kidney transplantation.

He holds membership in Editorial Boards of Transplantation Reviews, OBM Transplantation and Proceedings of Singapore Healthcare and South-East Asian Advisory Board for Astellas Pharmaceuticals and also acts as an advisor for emerging transplant programs like the uterine and composite vascularized allograft transplant programs.
